Coming soon for iPhone and Android
Whoever puts them to bed often falls asleep too
Babyfino’s sleep companion notices – with no light and no sound in the nursery – and tells the other parent. A lost evening becomes a short nap.
Coming soon for iPhone and Android
Babyfino’s sleep companion notices – with no light and no sound in the nursery – and tells the other parent. A lost evening becomes a short nap.
“I’m putting Emil to bed” – on your own phone. The monitor in the nursery stays off for now; otherwise it would hear you.
No light, no sound, the lowest brightness. The phone can lie under the blanket while your child falls asleep beside you.
Every three minutes – or every two or five, as you set it. A quick touch anywhere on the screen within a minute is your answer. Blind, one-handed. A finger left resting doesn’t count.
If no answer comes, your partner gets a notification: probably asleep, with Emil, since when. They can come and get you – or let you sleep.
As soon as the monitor in the nursery starts listening, the sleep companion ends. Without a monitor, a long press on the black screen ends it.
The nursery stays dark and quiet. Only the vibration in your hand checks in.
Our server keeps the deadline. If the app crashes, the battery runs out or the phone locks, your partner is still told.
Sometimes that’s best. Your partner can let you sleep; the sleep companion then ends and nobody is asked again.
At the end of the evening the history shows who fell asleep when – on your phones, not on a server.
It’s meant for you: short and gentle, the phone in your hand or under your blanket. Whether it disturbs a child depends on where the phone lies – put it where only you feel it.
No. A quick touch anywhere on the black screen is enough. The screen stays dark; at most a few very dark waves show that the touch arrived.
The sleep companion tells another parent. If there’s nobody it can notify, there’s nobody for it to get.
Babyfino on your phone and your partner’s, paired as a family, and an Internet connection. You start the monitor in the nursery only once your child is asleep.
